Now its parent company LVMH is prepping the sophomore edition of the brand in Noonu Atoll in the northern reaches of the Maldives called Cheval Blanc Randheli. The 45-villa property (each with private pool) is desiged by Jean-Michel Gathy and defined by 15-foot ceilings and lofty aesthetic that mixes Maldivian and Euro décor. The property will incorporate a signature spa in partnership with Guerlain, Leonor Grey salon, marina outfitted with custom dhoni boats made especially for the hotel and five restaurants including a resort-version of Le 1947. Needless to say it’s the most coveted Christmas reservation of 2013 and comes with a 10-night minimum stay that’s already wait-list only.
